ASAKUA floating platform systems are produced in two main categories: a lightweight modular platform for fish farms and sheltered sites, and the Work Barge series for open-ocean conditions. Five standard Work Barge models from P1260L to P1680S consist of FRP grating decks, hot-dip galvanised steel floaters and polyethylene pipe superstructure. Hydraulic or manual cranes, polyurea coating and custom equipment integration are added to project requirements. Each platform is manufactured at our İzmir facility; on-site installation is delivered by ASAKUA teams.
Fixed working platform positioned over the cage farm; provides safe ground for feed silos, automated feeding lines, monitoring systems and operations crew. P1260 model (12 × 6 m, 6–16 t deadweight) suits small and mid-scale sites; P1680 model (16 × 8 m, 12–30 t) is preferred for large farms.
Work barge carrying crane, equipment and operations crew for cage installation, net change, mooring maintenance and harvest. The P1680S model — 30 t deadweight and 20 MT hydraulic crane capacity — is engineered for open-ocean conditions and heavy-lift operations.
Load-bearing pontoon for coastal engineering, aquaculture processing facilities, floating houses and dive platforms. Beyond the standard P-series, custom-sized and custom-equipped configurations are produced; ASAKUA also delivers supply and on-site installation for floating structure projects outside aquaculture.
The Work Barge series consists of hot-dip galvanised steel floaters, FRP grating deck and polyethylene pipe superstructure. Five standard models: P1260L (12 × 6 m, 6 t deadweight), P1680L (16 × 8 m, 12 t), P1260H (12 × 6 m, 16 t), P1680H (16 × 8 m, 24 t) and P1680S (16 × 8 m, 30 t). Deck cargo capacity ranges from 1 t/m² to 4 t/m² across the range; usable deck area is 60 m² (P1260) or 112 m² (P1680).
Lifting equipment is added per project: hydraulic crane capacity is 8 MT on P1260H, 16 MT on P1680H, 20 MT on P1680S; manual crane is optional from 3 T to 12 T across all models. Draft is 0.2–0.4 m, freeboard 0.7–1.2 m — suitable for shallow coastal operations. Polyurea coating on the steel structure is optional for additional corrosion protection in marine conditions.
The lightweight modular platform variant — for sheltered waters and smaller cage operations — is dimensioned to site data with custom sizing, load and connection details. All platforms are delivered turnkey: engineering, steel fabrication, pre-assembly, transport and on-site installation.
